The Building is 80' wide x 480' long (38,400 sq.ft.) with an eave height of 45' and a 70' wide work area inside the crane rails.
Equipment
Two (2) 20-ton overhead cranes allow lifts of up to a total of 40 tons.
Three (3) make-up racks equipped with welding machines and rolls for double jointing and welding tubulars are fixed on the south end of the shop, which also houses a fixed 300' subarc line complete with turning rolls and three (3) tandem arc subarc machines.
This facility also operates eight (8) sets of turning rolls rated at 40 tons each, complete with idlers. There are eight (8) 600 amp DC welding machines, four (4) 250 amp, two (2) 300 amp, three (3) SA800 amp and three (3) AC 1200 amp welding machines.
Load Out Capabilities
Barge slip along Greens Bayou that is 170' wide x 350' long x 14' deep, and an additional 400 linear feet of parallel bulkhead along Greens Bayou.
Utilities
Compressed air, water, natural gas, oxygen, Argon-CO2 and AC electrical services in 100, 220 and 480 volts are available throughout the shops and along the waterfronts.
